BlueRoots Inc. recognizes the importance of privacy and the sensitivity of personal information. As consultants, we have a professional obligation to keep confidential all information we receive. We are committed to protecting any personal information we hold.

BlueRoots Inc. provides consulting services to businesses and families. In doing so, we need to collect personal information for various reasons including understanding client needs, maintaining client contact information, and providing materials concerning our services.

Personal information is any information about an individual. This could include information such as age, identification numbers, income, ethnic origin, credit or banking information, employee records, business records, and any information relevant to the issue for which we have been retained.

BlueRoots Inc. takes all reasonable precautions to ensure that personal information is kept safe from loss, unauthorized access, modification, or disclosure. Among the steps taken to protect personal information are: restricted file access; deploying technological safeguards like security software and firewalls; and internal password and security policies.

The quality of the work undertaken on behalf of our clients requires personal information to be accurate and complete. BlueRoots Inc. commits that all information will be held in strictest confidence and that no information divulged about the client’s personal situation to any outside organization or government agency without the client’s prior consent, unless as may be required by law. It is further understood that in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronics Documents Act (PIPEDA), the client directly authorizes and instructs BlueRoots Inc. to maintain information of a personal and private nature that could reasonably be considered pertinent or necessary in the provision of consulting services until such time as requested by the client in writing to destroy such information.
